Were bloody amazing.
We queued, starting at 12:00pm, for 4hours in the Golden Circle Queue, in the blustery wind and the odd spitting of rain.
Then waite 2hours for the first little band, who were Heaven's Basement, and they were quite good.
The Feeling were fantastic and the other, the dozy half, of the crowd woke up xD
Then, at 8, Livin on a prayer started =D and KAZZAM it was made of Win.

The waiting, the aching, loosing the ability to strut through dying legs and feet were all worth it. They were Amazing. Much better than I thought they'd be. I wasn't expecting then to play 'Born To Be My Baby' but they did, and they played in amazingly.
Apart from the amazingness of Bon Jovi, the stadium failed epically. We had to limp round Manchester about three times to find my dad to pick us up. We got back at 1:30 this morning =o
Compared to Aerosmith at Hyde Park last year?
The Gods can't be compared, they're both amazing.
Though the crowd at Hyde Park was bitchier.
Anyway, it was an amazing show.
Next?
I've been promised that I can go to the Next Aerosmith and Bon Jovi ones =D
I want to see KISS too, my parents went on Tuesday *jealousjealous*

I started out like most people - in a queue marked FASTTRACK FOR AEROSMITH FAN CLUB which seemed to have consisted of half the people there lol.
After about a decade, some AF1 reps started coming around with boxes of envelopes and handing out everybody's tickets slowly progressing through the masssive queue.
At around 2:00pm the queue finally started moving and some woman shouted at us to have our tickets ready - despite the fact we had had them ready for the past hour, idiot xDD.
Finally we were IN!! Well I headed straight for the ice cream van and got my ice cream, cost £2 n’all xD we then got right near the front which was awesome.
Well first up was some band I don’t know, but me and my mum were sat down with butties and playing I spy xDD [“something beginning with L” “legs?” “F” “feet” “S” “Shoes” xDDD]
Then Arckid (sp?) uhhhh well I thought they were a okay [ish].
The Answer [snicker] made me laugh. They were okay [ish].
JET were not that good, I found them a bit boring
I just DID NOT enjoy Chris Cornell at all! Probably because I didn't know his stuff, maybe because I didn't like it anyway, but mostly because at this point some arsehole decided it would be a good idea to try and shove everyone. Now I know it was a rock concert but it was ridiculous, this guy(s) was just doing it to stir up sh*t. Everyone was pushed about and I (little 5 foot something whoot go me xD) ended up being wedged between my parents and randomers. This dickhead [drunk probably] decided to annoy everyone, my mum was ready to whack him, and so was I, he pushed and me and my mum pushed back, my mum grabbed his arm to [with her nails, and they’re long xDD]. Not cool. I couldn't move. This was at the end of Chris Cornell - so I was really worried I would be stuck like this through Aerosmith as well. Then I managed to squeeze closer to the front So now I was alot nearer the front which was good even though being small I couldn't see that much lol.
There was a BIG delay between Cornell going off and Aerosmith going on. The stage crew were setting up and then a guy brought on Steven's scarved mic stand and there was a huge cheer! The setting up was taking ages and everyone seemed to be getting impatient with several failed attempts of an "Aerosmith! Aerosmith! Aerosmith!" chant. I was just thankfull I wasn't stuck anymore. Lol.
Then the starting Video came on screen and there was a massive cheer! I could see Joey at the side of the drums waiting to go on. The opening riff of Elevator then ripped from the speakers and everyone was waving their arms in the air and singing along. Steven came on wearing all white ( And the sexiest pair of pants ever xD they had playing cards on them, and a domino to and I WANT THEM XDD). It's amazing looking at so many pictures of a band and then finally seeing them in person! It was so great! They all look even better in real life!!.
Joe fucking Perry = love, he was awesome.
I could have done without the first bands and less Cornell and then Aerosmith could have been on WAY longer! But hey, that's life and no matter how short the set was, Aerosmith ROCKED that stage!!!! 10 hours in the rain, and sore legs from constantly having to stand on my tip toes was TOTALLY worth it! I thought it was an awesome performance. DMC in the encore was pretty cool as well.
Set List:
Elevator
Same Old Song
Cryin
Eat The Rich [loved this – Steven burped at the end too hehe]
Miss A Thing
Jaded
Baby Please
Seasons
Dream On [one of my favourite songs, I loved this!!!]
Edge
Stop Messin
Sweet Emotion
Draw The Line
Walk This Way
R.I.P my dear Cowboy hat!
